How to Shave Your Legs for the First Time

What You'll Need

 

  • BIC® Razor
  • Shaving Cream or Gel
  • Your Legs, Obviously

Step 1: Get Ready

Take a nice, warm shower.

The warm water makes your skin more elastic and softens hair, which makes shaving easier.

Get in a comfortable position.

Choose a position that allows you to reach every part of your legs. Sitting on the edge of the tub, maybe.

Lather up with plenty of shaving cream or gel.

Choose a brand with no alcohol. Let the lather sit on your legs for a few minutes.

Step 2: Shave

Grab your BIC® Razor.

Take it slow and easy.

No need to rush. Shave in slow, gentle strokes. Be extra-careful on tricky spots like your knees and ankles.

Repeat if necessary.

You might have to go over some spots twice. That’s totally fine! Remember to add more shaving cream.

Step 3: Finish Strong

Rinse your legs.

Then check to see if you missed any spots. If you did, add a bit more shaving cream and go over them again.

Dry off.

Dry your legs by gently patting them with a soft, cozy towel.

C
Moisturize.

Apply an after-shave cream or lotion to soothe and moisturize your skin.
